Myself and boyfriend took our 4 children on the carnival paradise on 10/13/2022-10/17/2022 for their first cruise. When we got on the ship the staff was very welcoming and nice. Day 1 on the ship wasn't bad but the food in the lido dining area was disgusting the only decent thing was pizza pirate. Once I got my luggage I opened up our suitcase to put our soda in the fridge and our soda was gone. The guy downstairs that took our bags told us to put our soda in our suitcase and then they took It. I then noticed a white liquid all over my clothes, from them throwing my luggage so hard they busted the whole cap off of my conditioner which then resulted in my clothes and dress for the formal dinner completely covered in conditioner. We went down stairs and complained and was told they would put in a request for our soda to be returned to us and for my clothes to be washed and returned immediately. When they came to get my clothes that day I was told I would have my clothes back by 5:00 the NEXT DAY!!! The next night I went to walk into my bathroom and the floor was flooded with a very nasty smell. I went to the bathroom and my shower started flooding with raw sewage!!!! Got all over the shower curtain, floors, and the smell was horrendous. They never changed the shower curtain!!!! Later that night at 12:00, while we were all sleeping they called the room phone to make sure "everything was fine in our cabin" from what I could tell- half asleep, it was fine. They said they would credit us 50.00 to our acct for the inconvenience... Never got the credit. The next morning we got up to go to the dr.seuss breakfast and went off the time on the phone in the room. We were supposed to be there at 8:30 and arrived at 8:15. We were told we were late because they were now going off of ship time, yet the time in the room was wrong. Our children were very disappointed. The last morning I walked into the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth and again stepped in a wet substance. I looked down and I had stepped in RAW SEWAGE AGAIN!!! Now mind you all, I am 21 weeks pregnant and just stepped in peoples feces. There was wet toilet paper that was literally coming out of the drains all over the bathroom. This was by far the absolute worse experience. Lastly, we had to arrive back in Tampa hours early because there was a medical emergency and 4 people died on our ship. I understand that emergencies happen but this was just the icing on the cake. I will never sail paradise again and honestly thinking about finding a better cruise line like Norwegian.
