Previous experience with a Viking River Cruise from Paris to Normandy was wonderful, so we thought we'd try a Viking Ocean Cruise. It was fabulous. We have limited cruising experience, but of the two other ocean cruises we have been on, Viking far surpassed Princess and Disney which by the way were very good cruises... Viking just surpassed them both.

I will recommend Viking to anyone who asks, we were well pleased with all aspects of the at-sea accommodations. The spaciousness of the ship despite it being a smaller vessel was quite roomy, not crowded and it seemed that we were never standing in line at all.

The crew was professional, attentive, polite and anxious to please. We always received a "yes, can do!" response to all of our requests. Sometimes we couldn't believe they would go so far to make our trip so unforgettable. This a very small example, a nit of an experience that impressed me. I had just finished up doing some laundry (another great feature) and was running late for dinner. I rushed back into the room and just dumped the dried laundry on our bed and rushed out to meet our dinner companions. Upon our return, we opened the door to our cabin and discovered that our laundry and been neatly folded and stacked on the bed... a work of art! :O) We weren't expecting that and certainly would not have requested the staff do that for us. Like I said, a small service, rendered without comment and always with a smile and greeting whenever we came upon them in the passageways. Well done Viking!

Cabin Review

Perfection! Accommodations were wonderful, made better by the staff.

Port Reviews

Naples

Worst port ever. dirty, grafitti everywhere, included tour was just a bus ride out and back with very little information from the local guide. No free time.
