I chose this cruise because of the itinery and the good reviews I had heard from others. The food and the service was excellent. All of the workers in the restaurants and bars were very eager and provided good service. The cabin was great and well kept. The cabin steward was attentive and very helpful. In these regareds, you get what you pay for.
There was a problem with docking equipment and the weather at the beginning of the cruise and we did miss 4 ports. This was an unforeseeable problem but the aftermath could have been handled by the company much better. Originally offering "cruise credit" for the missed ports was ridiculous. I am hoping to get a cash refund at some point but this should not have been a debate. The costs of the missed excursions, for which I paid in advance was returned via "onboard credit" so naturally it was used on board.
Excellent room with a large, comfortable bed and a good size balcony.
