An amazing cruise on Viking Sky, had only cruised once before (diff cruise line) many years ago and although that was a good experience - Viking exceed all expectations. Every crew member we encountered was happy, polite, engaging, smiling and seemed to genuinely love their jobs. They never let your glass go empty and never miss an opportunity to improve your journey in any way possible. The ship was subdued, but not boring, very well appointed, and just the right size. For those of you addicted to megaships, you should give this a try; you'll do just fine without a carousel and miss nothing. Entertainment was fun (go Kate!), the gym adequate, food amazing and the crew is the icing on the cake. The excursions were as good as can be expected in the time ashore and you may wish for more time in some locations and less in others, but that's the whole point, you get a taste and then decide what's worth a return trip. If you take this cruise and find something to complain about, you need medication, we will definitely return.
