We were on the MSC Seashore in September. This was our sixth cruise with MSC. The previous five cruises were great. Not this one in some ways. On the positive side the ship was beautiful and very clean. The dining room food was very good. All of the crew on the ship were very professional and hard working, with the exception on one we encountered. Our room steward was none existent . We never saw him in our cabin, he did not introduce himself to us. When we did see him it was out in the corridor. We would ask him for ice or towels to be changed. He would reply he was to busy. He would speak to us in french despite me telling him we did not speak french. This person was able to speak english. I came to the conclusion that he did not want to do any work what so ever. Because in the end what ever we asked for we did not get. I do regret not going to the service desk on board to request that he get nothing in respect to gratuities. The buffet food was the same everyday and was cold when it was supposed to be to be hot. The dining room food was good although the service was very rushed.
The cruise fares are cheaper on MSC, But remember, You get what you pay for. Period
