We chose this cruise mainly because of the FREE AIRFARE. We were joined by my brother and his wife and it was a great time. All the excursions were great, with the exception of one where we ate an "authentic" German dinner...we would not do that again. The staff is, without exception, the best hosts, hostesses, bar tenders, cabin-attendants we have ever experienced. We ate with different people at each meal seating and the staff treated us like family! By the way, we appreciated that there were no children. The captain did a fantastic job, especially with the low waters and an emergency situation that occurred on our voyage. The wait staff was better than I have ever experienced in other settings. Everything about the boat was exceptionally clean and efficiently run. Getting on and off the boat was effortless and enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next Viking Cruise. This one exceeded our expectations!
