Cabin: Balcony
First cruise since Pandemic. First cruise with Princess. Boarding at OPT, Sydney extremely efficient. Despite being lowest level of loyalty, on board within 15mins and rooms were ready at 12.45. Guarantee balcony cabin. Assigned A632 AFT cabin on Aloha deck. Cabin very nice. Great view from balcony. Queen bed extremely comfy. Plenty of space. Desk & chair but no couch. Balcony had two comfy chairs & small table. Balcony had no roof - so no protection from weather nor privacy from walking track above & you could see other cruisers on their balconies below. AFT cabin means long walk.
Ship very nice. Lifts quick and never any queue. Beautiful spacious library.
MDR food was hot but majority of meals bland. Horizon Court Buffet meals tasty.

Balcony
A632 - nice clean room. Very comfy bed. Small but practical bathroom. Had body lotion & combined shampoo & conditioner in shower. Hairdryer on wall near balcony door. Small fridge worked well & kept items within cold. No couch but desk & chair. Two chairs & small table on balcony. Balcony nice but had no roof so no protection from weather or privacy. Despite this very happy with this cabin.

Eden (Australia)
On board Coral Princess. Destination staff member gave an informative talk night before of things to do for free in Eden. Ship docks right next to Eden Welcome Centre (tourist info). Markets outside on port day. Free shuttles from WC to town centre. Town centre has plenty of small shops, cafes and iga supermarket in its Main Street. Most were open early for cruisers despite being a Sunday. Nice walk down to lovely beach & boardwalk (10mins). return walk uphill. Killer whale museum in town centre. short uphill walk from ship dock (or you can reach via town centre shuttle). Lots of lovely viewpoints in Eden. If Whale watch season, Cat Balou Cruise - ship excursion - a must do. Excellent cruise. Lots of whale sightings in October. Take warm clothing. Gets windy & bumpy at the furthest point on cruise. We had a beautiful day weather wise in Eden so it was a lovely port stop with walks & whale watching cruise.
