Chose cunard because previous experience has shown us that it excels in all regards, food, service, entertainment , covid precaustions etc service and customer awareness. It did not dissappoint. Calibre of other passengers mirrors these attributes. A bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. Smaller size compared to many nowadays, 2000 paengers but makes for a more exclusive holiday.

Positioning of ship in ports superb for disabled, flat and near attractions etc. Position in dining room upheld, distanced table for two. Entertainment world class eg watched Fred Astaire Top Hat and the choreography was identical there. Accessable flat areas for wheelchair users with comfy seating excellent. After 12 days of 14 a few covid cases. As per Captains instructions, 100% guest wore masks in theatre and public areas. No further coughing heard.

Plenty of staff, well turned out presented 5 star service and were kind thoughtfull happy and attentive. Daily hoovering breakfast ill 11pm everywhere kept a safe, comfortable ship. Pays your money, takes your choice.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Home from home. More than adequate cosy lighting= 5 table lamp types plus usual ceiling ones. Sofa near patio window. Wide tv on wall opposite bed. Kitchen facilities on dressing table opposite sofa. Wardrobes and large safe opposit bathroom on RHS side of bed. Very comfortable for duration.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

ease of getting off for wheelchairs. Shuttle mini bus directly outside. £8 return to centre cheapper products to buy. other trips history gardens etc if required.

Portofino

tender to santa margharita for boat to porto ino if required. check times or take a trip. choppy waters , disabled may find high step at margharita difficult. pretty area worth the tender trip alone. more expensive than spanish ports

Rome (Civitavecchia)

disabled so always get a taxi to wherever. dissappointed this time cos no taxis. given old shed for docking cos posh new area taken up by mega ships embarking and disembarking. Been upteen times in life so not fussed.

Seville

accesable from CADIZ. take note. Seville is a river port. Been upteen times before here too so very happy to find flat easy access to beautiful Cadiz. Head to San Juan De Dios plaza for markets cafes. Adjacent to cathedral [note area in front cobbled].Exocellent musicians here, violinists, saxopinists and quaint traditional puppeteers too. Beautiful architecture. everbody friendly and polite

Valencia

Taxi to cathedral and square containg markets and cafes. Very attractive with guy painting andalucian fans for sale. Beautiful architecture again and friendly and polite

Southampton

embarked and disembarked here. Always, Every facility unlike new york with one loo for male and female passengers. Hour and a half front door to cabin with taxi.
