I'm going to preface this review with a little of our cruising history. My husband and I are very experienced cruisers with 62 cruises since 2005. We've cruised with Princess several times, along with Carnival, Holland America, Celebrity, MSC and, our favorite, Norwegian. Out of those cruises, we'd rate this cruise (with #1 as fantastic and #62 as horrible) as number 55 and that's being generous.

Preparing our preboard documents using the Medallion app was frustrating. In the end, I could never download our vaccination information. It really didn't matter since it took the agent at the pier about 30 seconds to add that to the booking.

Our cruise included airport transfers booked through Princess. I knew from reading on our Cruise Critic rollcall, we would be sailing out of a seldom-used pier but no one communicated this with our bus driver. Instead, he took us to Berth 92/93 where someone from Princess boarded the bus, welcomed us, and said we would be taken to Berth 42/46. This took an additional 20-30 minutes. Upon arriving at the correct pier, we were able to check in very quickly and we were also able to take our carry-on bags directly to our cabin. Despite assurances, our large suitcase would be in our stateroom by the time we arrived, it wasn't there. It eventually was delivered shortly before we left the pier.
