We cruised on the Norwegian Joy on a 5 day tour to Bermuda from New York in early October. My DH (43) and myself (44) traveled to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We are regular cruisers of Norwegian with Gold Latitude status and have also taken a couple cruise on Carnival.

Norwegian Air:

We did book the trip with the buy one, get one free airfare. As we fly from Chicago, we weren’t concerned about flight issues and felt no risk going with the offer. We were shocked when our flight reservation got to us and it was the 3rd flight of the day from Chicago to New York, not landing until 11:30am when all aboard was 2pm. Our flight was a bit delayed and we made it to the bus a little after noon to find that we were the last people to arrive using NCL air. And we ended up being very happy that our flight was later as some of the people had been waiting hours while we just walked right up and to the bus. There was only one bus going from LaGuardia to the port for NCL that day. Taking a bus through Manhattan on a Monday is an adventure but we made it without issue. Read more
