This was our third Silversea Cruise this year, and to say it was outstanding is an understatement, very much a repeat cruise for us, having done it before, but the wife loves Venice and Rome, we had to days pre cruise at SS Hotel in Venice (The Bauer) again fabulous, and two days in SS Hotel in Rome (Westin) which was good, not great but good (Rooms very dated) Our May cruise (Athens to Israel) we had a Silver Suite, this cruise a Veranda, still a lovely suite and, at night easier to find the bathroom, Butler (Lalit) and Room attendant (Jouard (George)) Jelena at reception could not be more helpful, the bar staff and waiters were simply superb, special mention to Carlos and Mareen in the Salt Bar and Natcha sommelier in Atlantide. Food, service, ambiance, all First Class, Ports Visited were also Great (Loven Taormina on Sicily) Entertainment, don't expect Broadway. but its good (Slightly refined) Vicki Cruise directors own show (Ship Happens) was outstanding.
Wee bit late with this review, but seeing negative ones, thought I'd put in my tuppence worth. Next Silversea Cruise for us is early December, CAN NOT WAIT...
