We chose this cruise to have a break going down the Pacific Coast at a good price - repositioning cruise. There was a Celebrity Cruise (our Favourite line) going the same time however, was more expensive and we thought we'd give Princess a second try especially on their new ship. In hindsight I would have preferred to stay with Celebrity as I think the quality is higher and food much, much better - and there's quiet places to sit!

I don't too much mind all activities going on aboard ship - it's what many want, I like to have a break from it and find a place to chill occasionally, have a drink and read or chat with people, I couldn't find anywhere on this ship, wherever I moved to more noise of entertainment or demo's or sales - just noise, noise, noise. We were looking forward to Movies under the stars as we did this last time a few years back on Princess (same time and cruise), this time it always seemed to be American Football! There were a few Movies but generally disappointed.

Staff overall were great, especially the dining staff in Ketchiken Main dining - I Komang and Norberto were excellent.

Cabin Review

Service excellent, room a little small, bed and pillows excellent

Port Reviews

San Francisco

This city is awesome. Cable car a must. Alcatraz did previously but not enough time in port to do this time

Santa Barbara

One word: Beautiful! Would love to go back and stay. Pier walk is excellent, walking around the town is the best way to see the place.
