We chose this cruise for a few reasons. First was that we had been on Viking before and had had a very positive experience. Second was the itinerary. It was exactly what we were looking for. And finally we wanted a smaller ship than we had been going on in the past. All our criteria were met. The service was top notch. The only issue we had were the specialty dining rooms. In one the service was elegant but the food selections were very different . In the Italian restaurant we waited for our dinner for over 45 minutes and walked out. After mentioning this to the customer service on board, the staff couldn’t do enough to try to make it right for us. We were sent champagne and a note of apology. The tours were very well done and the ease of exiting and reentering the ship was so easy There was no waiting for a tour in a large room. Our stateroom was always maintained to the highest standards by a very pleasant steward who was very attentive to our every need
