Outstanding Viking river cruise on the Moselle and Rhine Rivers. Exciting to see many castles on the rivers and the highlight of the trip was visiting the Alps by train. Viking staff and crew take care of any and all luggage transfers and dining experience and meals on board ship delicious and coordinated with areas of Europe being visited. Included tours were very informative and guided by local residents with knowledge of history and provided recommendations for shopping as well as dining options. Daily briefings prepared us for next day activities as well as opportunities to go sightseeing on your own. Would highly recommend optional excursions that include the Alps and cities in Switzerland, including hiking on your own. Because the cruise is along the Rhine where many vineyards are located being able to tour some of the vineyards with wine tasting were another highlight. Weather was perfect for early fall.
