The Inside Passage was as beautiful as I hoped it would be. Viking canceled this cruise in 2020 and we elected to take the premium voucher offered, which just about paid for our five-day Denali Extension, on the advice of our travel agent. We are so glad we did. Denali is beautiful and we were able to see bears, moose, elk, Dall sheep, eagles, etc. The Observation Dome train ride from Anchorage to Denali was lovely and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and lunch onboard. We returned to Seward via motorcoach, with an overnight in Talkeetna. Then we were welcomed aboard the beautiful Viking Orion. Viking staff provided top-notch service, shipwide. We made use of the fitness center, and the spa, and enjoyed the presentations in the planetarium and the theater. We enjoyed meals in the main restaurant, the buffet, Manfredilian) and Chef's Table (tasting menu, with wine pairings.) Well done, Viking!
