We wanted to see more of the Mediteranean and spend a few more days in our favorite places in Italy. This itinerary fit the bill.
We took advantage of all the free amenities that we could. We did every single one of the immersion tours with local guides as well as a couple prepurchased extras. The local guides felt like friends by the end of each adventure. Very rarely ordered drinks beyond the wines and beers as the on offers were very good. Enjoyed the variety of food and were pleased that the staff made our 53rd anniversary dinner extra special for us and our 6 traveling companions. The four shows we saw were fun and entertaining we would have done all of them but with our busy days some nights we had to go to bed early! The ports of call amazed us and we enjoyed them immensely.
As usual the Viking staff was exceptional. From the cruise directors to the cleaners everyone made sure our trip was excellent and that we enjoyed every minute.
Cabin Review
Deluxe Veranda Stateroom
We like the efficiency of this cabin and really like the heated bathroom floors. The balcony offers expanded space and nice to breakfast on when room service calls in in the morning. Not much time to relax as Viking keeps you busy but this cabin offers all we need. Our cabin steward was terrific and again made sure we had everything we needed. We had prepaid gratuities but he was well deserving of an extra tip.
