Chose this cruise as a knee jerk reaction post Covid lockdown and never regretted it for a moment. Naively didn't realise it was a brand new ship when we booked but it was excellent and it was nice not to be mopping water up around our shower which happened on our last P&O cruise which was seriously in need of a refit.

Despite what previous reviewers have said we found the standard of food to be excellent. Luminae service was very good with an obvious emphasis on being friendly with the constant use of guests names which I personally like. Choice was a little limited but always other dishes on offer which were not shown on the menu. Thought breakfast and lunch in the Ocean View was exceptional whenever we visited.

Only negative really was the Fine Cut Steakhouse which we thought was underwhelming for the 150$ extra it cost per couple. Following that experience we did not bother with any of the other restaurants which charged to use. The steak we ate in the Luminae on our last night was certainly as good and didn't cost us a dime extra. Read more
