Sail Date: Sep 2022

We were on the APEX Sept. 11, 2022 for a 12 day repositioning cruise Amsterdam to Rome. Celebrity admitted that the ship was understaffed by 225 crew members, and it showed. Dining service was impacted. One meal took 2.5 hours. Overall, the food seems to have slipped compared to past Celebrity experiences. We sent 3 entrees back for poor quality during the cruise. One tour guide was an hour late for our excursion, which forced us to skip some attractions. We received a 20% refund. Celebrity's dinner reservation system (or lack thereof) was confusing and took a couple days to figure out.

On the positive side, most of the shows were excellent, save one or two. The Celebrity entertainers were excellent. The theater is stupendous. The public restrooms were immaculately clean with an attendant on duty at all times. Our cabin steward provided flawless attention to detail.

Overall we just booked another Celebrity cruise.
