This was our 7th overall Cruise (3rd with Royal) and I will say personally - we enjoyed this Cruise as our best overall. My wife and I celebrated a significant wedding anniversary and our thoughts/ratings were consistently similar. I waited one week so I could absorb and let saturate all of our experiences. First - the condition of the ship we both thought was Excellent. Our cabin (we had connecting balcony staterooms) was very comfortable and we had plenty of space with connecting cabins (of course). The shower was excellent - great pressure and got very hot if that is what you like. We were on deck 7 towards the front of the ship. Our only complaint for our cabin was our neighbor above us who consistently would scrape the deck chairs multiple times in the middle of the night - and one night sounded as if they were hammering nails above us ! Second - the food. I would rate this as Excellent as well. I will admit we are not Epicureans but we both thought the food offerings in the main dining room and windjammer were REALLY good. There were only a couple of items that we thought lacked seasoning, but those were the exceptions and not the rules. We also purchased specialty dining and will tell you we love Izumi ! Now's the time to tell you our ABSOLUTELY BEST experience - the Chef's Table. We can not tell you how thoroughly we enjoyed the entire experience - to us it was one of the best overall meals EVER. I urge you to try this on your next cruise. Third - Fitness Center. I work out 6 times a week, so I will tell you the machines/equipment are pretty much OK. Only complaints - I am a Peleton fanatic, they only offered 3 Spin classes the entire 10 day cruise and the times were all INCONVENIENT (IMHO). Fourth - Port calls/excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the excursions (we signed up for excursions for every day but 3 so we could do our own thing for those days), we only had one issue which Royal addressed promptly and to our total satisfaction. Fifth - entertainment. Overall this was pretty good, we only attended two shows. Only complaint wqas my spouse felt the cruise director wasn't the most "entertaining" at her duties. Sixth (and last) - all of the staff, everyone (I mean Lottie, Dottie, Everybody) exceeded expectations for prompt and courteous service. Absolutely not one issue to even mention - they were all OUTSTANDING. So to end this, as in my title - we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise (our longest yet) and would not hesitate to the same one
