We selected this cruise because of the reduced price. It was a remarkable deal. It was our first Viking ocean cruise. We love the Viking river cruises and have taken several. We liked the size of the ship and the passenger capacity; as we prefer the smaller ships to the mega ships. The food was very good; in both the main dining room and the specialty restaurants. The shows were lackluster - but on par for a cruise. The rooms were very clean and a good size (especially the bathroom). Our overall experience with the ship and the crew was excellent. The itinerary was where we weren't as satisfied. This cruise took in Turkey and Greece. Greece was beautiful and we would go back! Turkey, however let us a little let down. Our feeling is that we've been there - no need to go back. The Viking excursions were very well done in all of the ports.
