This cruise interested us because of the numerous ports and the countries we stopped at. When we arrived in Venice we were met by Viking where the outstanding service began, they escorted us to our ship and got us settled in our room, which was perfect for our 2 week trip. There were so many daily excursions it was hard to choose. Each day we had fabulous guides and the sights did not disappoint, it was a sensory overload! We appreciated that the menu and entertainment reflected the region we were docked at. At night we would enjoy a cocktail (or 2)in the living room or Admiral’s lounge before dinner listening to music or playing trivia. The theater had entertainment each night and wonderful speakers. The selection of restaurants was wonderful. Each night we could select where we would like to eat, some casual, some more formal, the food was delicious. The staff went out of their way to make our trip special, can’t say enough about how welcoming and professional they were. We also enjoyed the spa with the snow grotto, sauna, and hot tub. When our vacation ended Viking escorted us to the airport and we were sad our odyssey had ended. We loved every minute and will definitely cruise with Viking again!
