First, let me say this was our 10th cruise with Princess, my husband and I. We heard that cruiselines were having difficulty with keeping a full staff, so we were expecting some changes after COVID. We didn't expect the changes to be so great.
Let me start with check-in. Because of our cruise history with Princess we are allowed priority check-in. We got in line and were moving along ok, until a gentleman came and told the crew member to hold the line. They then started moving the non priority line and did so, while ours was stopped for 40 minutes! I am no snob, but why offer perks to established Princess cruisers if you aren't going to honor them. We finally got on board.
I had always expected a little bit of class from Princess. A little bit more luxury. When sitting at the pool there were people laying about in various stages of intoxication. Some had on rather offensive attire and offensive wording on hats. Constantly complaining about the kids in the pool. Nearly ruined our pool time.
Cabin Review
Interior
Our cabin was clean and our room steward was friendly and helpful. He brought us a glass of champagne right away and welcomed us on board. Our room was a mini suite and very comfortable.

Belize City
We took a riverboat excursion. It was too long and too hot. Interesting wildlife and flora.
Cozumel
We always have a good time in lively Cozumel. We opted for a show and lunch and tequila tasting. Really enjoyed it. However, after lunch we had to walk several blocks to get our taxi back to the ship. It was hot and humid and way to far to walk. Didn't understand why we weren't picked up at the restaurant where we were dropped off. That needs to change, It ruined what was otherwise a very enjoyable excursion.
Grand Cayman (Georgetown)
Swam with the sitngrays. Got pictures. The catamaran ride was nice and the weather gorgeous. Enjoyed this, but don't get the photos, waste of money.
Roatan
Beautiful, comfortable beach. Great food and drinks. They even have a lift chair that carries you down to the beach. So nice. Really enjoyed it. Would recommend it.
