A friend invited me to join her on this river cruise. We didn't know what to expect as it's both our first time. Some friends said that the Viking river cruises were excellent and it was indeed! I loved the relaxed pace of the whole trip. It never felt crowded and didn't feel rushed. It felt quite intimate too as it's a smaller group We made new friends and got to know the crew better and they gave incredible service. Food is superb with so much to choose from the menu. There's a saying that you can tell if the food will be amazing by the bread that is served. I don't eat a lot of bread but I did one too many on Vikings and I don't regret it! There are many excursions to choose, from easy to more active ones. The tour guides were professional always on time, informative and entertaining. The state room was clean, very comfortable and freshened up daily. I'm taking my hubby September 2023 on Rhine river cruise and we both can't wait!
