Having just completed our Lisbon to Barcelona cruise with Regent, I thought this would be helpful for possible new cruisers.
Overall the cruise was a disappointment as Regent have obviously cut back post Covid and without exception, all their past clients complained bitterly and vowed not to travel again with them.
It started with a very poor choice of hotel in Lisbon near the airport and then a 2 hour slog (long, slow lines) to get on board with no Regent staff around. Our cabin was excellent and wait staff in the restaurants were excellent. Support staff on the destinations desk were dreadful and refused to book us a local taxi to get to Grenada. We ended up getting off in the dark and found a port authority lady who spoke Spanish and booked us a taxi. Then the destinations desk refused to let us come back in the bus as we did not travel to Grenada in the bus (it was too late for our tour). Only when I made a fuss did they agree to let us return in their bus which was half empty.
