We had a wonderful vacation on Adventure of the Seas to Bermuda in balcony cabin 7644 that was perfect for our needs. The ship was very clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed deck five with its Main Street feel of shops, bars, etc. The cabin was nicely decorated, immaculate and we had wonderful service every day. There was more than enough storage, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and our cabin steward was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful ocean view from the balcony just looking out at the ocean. We experienced a spectacular sunset over the ocean on the way back unlike any I have seen. The sky and ocean appeared as if it were on fire.
The dining room experience was wonderful- the staff went out of their way to see that everything was perfect and we were grateful for their dedicated work and attention to every detail. We also enjoyed the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch and enjoyed that as well. There was such an abundance of choices of fresh and delicious food of all types. I loved the bagel and smoked salmon bar and used it every day, even bringing a plate to our balcony to enjoy breakfast there. There was also an international buffet section that served different international dishes every day- Caribbean, Italian, Indian, etc. and everything was delicious. I do not eat meat and never felt that there was not enough choices for me. The dining area was kept very clean. All of the staff was amazing and friendly. I don't know how anyone could be dissatisfied with the food, given the quality and number of choices.
Bermuda was a very nice port to explore and walk around, if you prefer staying close to the ship. We took a mini bus that was seven dollars each way to Horseshoe Bay Beach which seems to be the place to go for most people. There was another Carnival ship in port as well. As a result, the beach, while beautiful, was quite crowded and there were long lines for the beach bar. However, the water was warm, and the rock formations were magnificent. We took several swims and took lots of pictures. The bus driver told us a lot about Bermuda, both past and present on the way to the beach and back, and was very interesting and informative.
