It was a scene out of Downton Abbey when the titled owners arrived home after a long absence; all the American Cruise Lines crew and staff were lined up to welcome us on board the American Spirit. Though there was one major difference between the AC staff and the Downton Abbey staff, all the AC personnel were smiling. The employees of AC were extremely happy and pleasant people to be around, always smiling and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. They are what made our cruise so special, we felt part of the AC family.

We were truly amazed at the spaciousness and cleanliness of our cabin and remained so throughout the duration of our cruise. There was a variety of excursions to choose from each day, the on-board enrichment programs were marvelous as well as the nightly entertainment.

Every day we had the most delicious meals expertly prepared and followed by a variety of delectable desserts.

Cabin Review

Cabin AA

We were truly amazed at the spaciousness and cleanliness of our cabin and remained so throughout the duration of our cruise. I was so impressed by the size of our cabin I immediately, upon arrival, sent my sister, the family world traveler, a photo of the room. She agreed the size of the cabin was remarkable!
