Like many others this trip was rescheduled 3 times due to covid. We finally made it and it was amazing. Staff at Seattle Port seemed a little frustrated and impatient with first timers but understandable, organized mess. On board Great food, great weather, great staff and so many whales!!!
Don't book an excursion at Juneau, so much to do in town! Our excursion took away from our time to visit bars or shops in Juneau. Icy Strait Point was the best!!! Whale watching, zip line, just the best stop! Glacier Bay was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Ketchikan was ok and best stop for souviners, Victoria was a waste of time, was close to 9 pm or later by the time we could get off the boat. Disappointed that they would not stamp passport.
Food at Buffet was great. service at The Local was good first day but not so great after that. I would do this trip again to do things differently!
Cabin Review
Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom
Cabin 15214 - very spacious for 3 adults but would not recommend 4. This cabin was directly under either the fitness center or the path for kids to run to the slide, it sound like a herd of buffalo at times! I would recommend something more forward than midship. Fantastic room steward. Deck 15 is perfect due to observation area, we saw so many whales from 3 pm to 5 pm on the way to Victoria. Coffee and snacks very close to cabin!

Just amazing! Best weather. Boat turned full turns and half turns.
Icy Strait
My favorite of all! Best paid whale watching, zip line was great, gondola very scary! We had free whale watching when on the way to Victoria, hours of whales. But Icy Strait whale watching was very good!!!
Juneau
Regret doing an excursion here. The bus ride was way too long! Bus driver could not drive and talk so he drove very slow eating our time. Someone offered to drive for him. He offered to drop us in town but said we would have to walk the mile back to ship, something my 82 yr old mother could not do. We then discovered we could have taken the multiple shuttles back to boat but dark by then. I missed visiting Red Dog Saloon and Tracys but will return! The whale watching was ok but not as good as Icy Strait.
Victoria
Not enough time here, got off the ship to see if they would stamp our passports. No luck!!!! Visited gift shop and was not comfortable with being watched so closely as if I was going to steal something. Went back to ship for ice cream!
