Found being on board very boring without much to do outside of the excursions. We do not care to drink and socialize for an hour before dinner, during dinner and then after dinner. The popular Aquavit dining area would not be available as people felt it was okay to save seats ahead of time with their personal items. Very limited TV selections and often no internet connection available. Disappointed in docking experiences as it was often in an area not walkable or explorable. We paid for a veranda suite but often were docked with one or more boats parallel to ours blocking our view of the river and within a foot of the other boat's stateroom.

Most of the Viking tour guides were exceptional but there was very limited time to shop and explore.

The day of embarktion was very stressful and poorly planned with limited explanations by boat staff on the process.
