I chose this cruise due to the itinerary because I had already done other cruises on the Mediterranean and I didn't want to repeat the same ports. The ship is new and very beautiful. However the pools are small and there are only two jacuzzis. In the cabin (I bought two cabins with a balcony) there is no fridge (first ship I see this!). The food is good, but the company's services are terrible: the staff of the agency in SP and also the "staff" on board do not provide accurate information. They even said that American coffee (not espresso) was not free and we only found out that it was available on the third day (we asked different people twice!). There is no free water with dinner (first cruise company with this policy). I bought a package of wines (together with the purchase of the cabin) and the SP employee said that I would receive the list on board, however on the first night at the dei Medici restaurant the waiter asked (before I had chosen the food!) wine I wanted to drink. So I asked for the list and he said to access it through the QR Code. So I did and chose a wine, then the waiter said it wasn't part of my package (Classic package). I asked which wines belonged in the package and only the "maitre" provided a photo of the wines via his cell phone (I then took a photo of the maitre's cell phone screen with my cell phone! Surreal!!!). At lunch (Versilia restaurant) there was only one beer available (Heineken "a la spina"). I asked for other brands but was informed that only in other bars! In addition, there were no visible prices, and there was a need to question the attendant. Even the water machines were only available at breakfast and lunch, being inaccessible at other times (this is the first cruise company I see denying water!!!). I emphasize that I have already done 10 cruises with different companies: Royal Caribbean, Princess, Norwegian and Oceania. It was my first cruise on Costa (and probably my last!) and the performance was far below the other companies mentioned above.
