we chose this cruise because people said, it is the best , how wrong we were, , The arrival and check in process was great TBH and we were soon in our room, firstly opening the doors to look at the view of spilt drinks on the outside table, Oh well must have been missed we thought, we had a drinks package however soon found out if you wanted a bottle of Stella, $1 extra, Martini bar $7 extra but the good news was you can upgrade to the premium package for an extra $34 a day per couple, bear in mind in the Martini bar this cost $36 for 2 Martini,s we had no choice. Now you would think that the bottles of water in your room were part of premium package , but no $14 for two bottles of water. Now you could make a drink but only one coffee sachet and one teabag, and one milk each in your room.
We were anytime dining which you can book on your app, nothing all week between 5.45pm and 8.45 pm, not really anytime dining, the food on the first night was could, the service not much better as there was not enough staff to go around. I ordered french fries as an extra one day and got a Yorkshire pudding, we ordered cauliflower cheers another day and they forgot and bought it out at the end of the meal stone cold. All the drinks menus were out of date as they were old and not what they sold, using the app they didn,t update it so that was wrong, asking the staff what drinks they had they were clueless. . One night the waitress managed to knock a full glass of wine over and then got me to move sop she can mop up, nothing about my now stained shirt and soggy trousers, the table was just left in its sorry state and not cleaned.. The wines listed on the daily menus were not what was served to you, different most days. The sail away party was embarrassing as the lady said the captain cant join us as he is sailing away huh ! Delays getting of the ship, when asked it was due to people having wheel chairs and having to put them in the coaches , im sure on a cruise they have never seen a wheelchair before, Word class bar do not do the drinks that they advertise.
We saw an Elton John tribute act which was very good however a comedy magician who was hopeless, but on about three times, he might have been good 70 years ago.
