This cruise was a last-minute replacement for a 9-day Caribbean cruise on NCL that was canceled due to Hurricane Ian. This was just our 5th cruise with Celebrity and about or 10th Mexican Rivera cruise. We have done this cruise on Carnival, NCL & RCCL.

We drove from 25 miles east of Tucson, Vail, AZ. The drive takes about 7.5 hours including a couple of brief stops to make our “bladder gladder”. We arrived about 1-hour before our boarding time and were allowed to board the ship.

EMBARKATION: Quick and easy!

I stayed on-board. My wife went on a horseback riding excursion that was impacted by the the hurricane that passed through the area. It turned into a tequila drinking ride - she doesn't drink.
