Traveled with children

My family just returned from our first RC cruise. A little about us - we are a family of 2 adults and 4 kids (plus another college student kid who couldn’t join us). The children are 3,5,14, and 16. We chose this cruise because it worked with our fall break and sports schedules.

We don’t go to many shows or bars on cruises. My husband and I prefer to hang out on the balcony and read. My teens were very active with the teen group and my littles enjoyed the kids’ club.

We sailed in an aft 2-bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family. I wish the configuration was available on more ships. I didn’t love the outside structure blocking the view and the room is pretty dated, but those are minor complaints.

Grand Suite

The 2 bedroom aft suite was dated, but a great layout for our family of 6. The balcony was huge and we loved sitting on it.
