very poor customer service on boat and on land

First of all this was supposed to be our 2nd Honeymoon vacation as 26 years ago that didn't happen, kids, work and morgages. P&O cruises cruises failed to reply back to us when contacted to make a specail occasion for our special event, that didn't happen, 2 emails, not returned. phone calls one after another was made, nothing passed through to the correct people, they will ring us back they say, never happened. 11 months down the track more attempts to contact, same events, failed everytime. soon the day came for embarkmentation, the night before i wrote out a 2 page complaint to give to the service desk on deck 5 once boarded. all good i thought until after the cruise. wow they gave us $50 voucher for a specail dinner at the shell & bones( now i know that was shut up money). customer service promised that my complaint would be dealt with and given to the appropaite people on land. that never happened.

Food, this is my third time on the Pacific Exxploror, up to this date, i was very loyal customer of P&O cruises Australia. As i was saying food, the first night good, and that was it, macdonalds had better food. custurd, grainy and tastless, bacon, rubbery on the edge and tough in the middle, reheated i susspect, other food substanded, nothing like the 2 cruises prevouisly. Waterfront restaruant, had dinner there the first night and never went again, absalutley the worst restartuant food i have ever had, so dissapointing. all other staff were good ecept for one the shop, rude and didin't know what he was doing. tryed to charge me again for something we had already bought, when i returned it for a bigger size he tryed to regarge me.

back to the customer service on land, two weeks later, i called P&O customer service and was was informed they had not receivedany complaint, three calls later i finally got an answer, ship had not forwarded my complaint , now 1 month after the cruise, i had to re put the complaint in again, 4 weeks after that i get a call, offered me $100 for next cruise, insult, rejected, two weeks later another call, no apolige, and still no explantion, to my complaint, they offer $200 future cruise credit, i stated i want explaintions. sent another letter of, 2 weeks later the same person contacts me back with the same offer,stated that they can't do any else for me, yet still no explaination and yet again failed my reqeust in the last letter for this to be given to head office in chatswood nsw.
