We chose the very first transatlantic cruise by NCL for its newest ship, the Prima. We have cruised NCL almost exclusively and have never had a bad experience. First of all this was a northern cruise(Southampton to Orkney Scotland, Reykjavik Iceland and Halifax Nova Scotia.) So with the rather bleak weather it was impossible to really appreciate all the outdoor ambiance of the ship. That was not NCL's fault.

The good: NCL really upped the game with the cabins. We had a regular balcony cabin. The bathroom was definitely a surprise! It was very roomy, especially the shower!! The color palette was mostly soft browns, grays etc. The mural on the wall was different but fit the color scheme. The balcony was bigger and the chairs had very nice cushions.

The overall appearance of the ship is definitely a step in the right direction. The colors were muted and flowed well together.
