This was our first ever cruise & we chose Royal Carribean due to their reputation. Unfortunately the reality did not live up to the expectation.

The boarding at Barcelona was smooth enough and we were walking onto the ship within 45 minutes after our check in time but events soon took a turn for the worse. We were informed our luggage would be delivered to our stateroom but after 2hrs on the ship there was no sign of our suitcases. It was only a chance walk along the room deck after exploring the ship that the luggage was discovered some 6 bedrooms away. It appeared other passengers were also wondering aimlessly around looking for their luggage. The process seemed a little chaotic but we soon moved forward with an inspection of our room.

Upon turning on the TV it appeared a substance had been spilt down the screen that was difficult to clean off. The bathroom was clean but was tired to say the least. The suite looked to be aging and the mirror black and faded around the edges. The overall aesthetic appearance was unappealing to the point of wanting to spend as little time as possible in there.
