I loved every minute of this cruise! From the beautiful surroundings to the warm and welcoming crew, the AMA Magna delivered a first-class experience.

This was our first river cruise, after doing several ocean cruises, and it was better than I had hoped. I loved the size of the boat -- easy to navigate, enough people to be able to find friends. The crew was warm and friendly; the cruise manager Radi energetic, capable and effusive -- she was everywhere you needed her to be! The ship itself is beautiful, well-appointed with a comfortable lounge, warm library, decent if small gym (but really, this wasn't about working out), and plenty of places to sit and read or talk. Our room was plenty big -- we booked a room with a balcony on the Cello deck -- with lots of storage, a sofa, and two sinks. Excellent food, lots of choices, with appropriate portions that made it easy to eat four courses.

The vibe was low-key -- no hyping of the spa services, or pushing additional services. We were made aware of all that was available without feeling hounded. The overall feel was of being pampered and cared for. The weather was cool, and when we came back from excursions, we were greeted with hot towels and glasses of tea, a really nice touch that made us feel oh so special. And speaking of excursions, there was a nice variety offered, with truly excellent guides. We chose the more active options -- bike rides and hikes -- and were not disappointed.
