We bought a Celebrity package holiday to Canada and flew to Boston. We should have been met by a Celebrity rep at the airport to direct us to our hotel transfer. There was no one there and the tel number provided didn’t work. Although it was an airport hotel not that far away, we ended up walking with all of our luggage. When we contacted Celebrity they denied all knowledge of us having a transfer even though we had a voucher with it on.

The dining on Summit had lots of repeat items on the main dining room menu on our 12 night cruise and was greatly scaled back from what Celebrity used to offer. The waiting staff and wine waiter were excellent. The service in the coffee shop was also very good, efficient and attentive.

On the other hand, we complained three times that we hadn’t had our bed linen changed but this didn’t result in any action. We went 12 nights without a change of bed linen, even though the last time we complained was to the Deputy Housekeeping Manager who said he would raise it with the Hotel Director. No one seemed surprised so I assume we have to take it that this is the norm on Celebrity. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Cabin Review

Very poor no change of bed linen on our 12 night cruise. Guest relations didn’t seem surprised and neither was the Deputy Housekeeping Manager.
