Chose Celebrity Aqua Class on recommendation of friend. What were the benefits? 2 bottles of water a day in your suite. We were on premium drinks package so could get bottles of water at any time we wanted. Use of steam room and warm beds. Always in use when we went so couldn’t get access to them. Dinner and breakfast in Blu restaurant. It is a nice restaurant and we had good service but quite frankly the food was dire! It appears they think because you get access to a spa you are on a health kick. Breakfast was good and substantial. Dinner was a joke. The number of options each night were around 4 starters and 4 mains which included a vegetarian option. One night there were 2 lamb options for the main and 3 consecutive nights duck and three nights on a row there was crab as a starter. What was worse was the size of the portions. We asked about being served from the main restaurant menu but because that kitchen was too far away that was not allowable. We could have gone to the main restaurant but to get a table you had to book in advance. Apparently we should have had a nibble delivered to our suite before dinner. Arrived 3 times.

So what were we actually paying extra for?

Entertainment was mixed. Saw an American ‘comedian’ and impressionist. Didn’t laugh once. A couple of musical nights were quite good.

Cabin Review

It was fine.
