It is possible to receive superior food on a cruise ship but truly the choice, qualiy and presentation were very good indeed. With a few allergy problems betwen us we were concerned but on our first time into the dining room the waiter immediatlt calle 'The Head Waiter' and from then on either special meals or the same food without the harmful ingredietnts were provided. This was outstandingly good attention. We booked and paid extra for three nights in the 'Speciality Restaurants' and although this may sem to be unnecessary expenditure it made those nights very special with food and service fit for royalty!!
The ship is huge but the sheer number of passengers was only noticeable on 'Sea Days' - as nobody left the ship to go ashore! The entertainment on five of the seven nights was very good, the Michael Jackson show was terrific, one or two nights not quite so good.
We have cruised on many different ships, many different cruise lines, just once with MSC before (on the very good Meraviglia).
