I want to share my experience with Celebrity Eclipse in Alaska (July 24-31). All started with a promo in January 2021 when Celebrity offered basic beverage package, wifi and gratuities, and double CC points, so I did not think twice and booked. In October 2021 the Black Friday promo offered a premium beverage package and $300 OBC for an even a lower price and I got Celebrity applied me the new conditions.
I loved Eclipse, she had her years but she is impeccable, because she has not been revolutionized yet she keeps Solstice deck for everyone (the best place to see the sea pass), and has the size that make me feel confortable without crowds. She was 80% full (~2200 passengers, for August 100% is expected), but it didn't appear to be so much people, and few children on board.
The basic WiFi offered is very slow and with limited functions.
Cabin Review
AquaClass 2
Aqua Class cabins are in deck 11, the same that Relaxation room and below the termal area Persians Gardens and the indoor heated swimming pool. We chose a cabin in bow area to be close to that facilities. Aqua Class cabins are like Concierge or a regular balcony, but with some perks.
