This cruise was offered by my travel agent for an incredible price. We added the stream/internet for 1 device, pre-cruise, and although only I wanted beverage package, both cabin mates had to have the package. The internet package really cannot be shared. The App is available for messaging each other but you must have the other people set up to message them. We chose Easy Plus Beverage and had plenty of selection onboard. The other check-in experiences reported had prepared me to expect the worst. The ship was apparently fully booked, which definitely showed up in all the lines. From arrival at Terminal C in Miami until we were onboard was just about 30 minutes because my Diamond status (obtained w/Status Match) helped bypass a much longer line. Our embarkation check-in time was 2 pm but we arrived at 1:45 without issue. The first surprise was the modified itinerary due to Hurricane Fiona, which turned my Eastern Caribbean cruise into a Western Caribbean cruise. Although the ship alternates East/West every week, we sailed to Costa Maya and Roatan, which were new stops for the Seashore. The first day was at Ocean Cay and it was a nice experience with pretty water at South Beach. We did an umbrella rental for $18 and carried it to 2 adjoining lounge chairs. We spent most of the time in the water or going back and forth to the nearby bar area. A nice day to start the cruise overall. Our 3rd day was a sea day, which was also the "elegant" night aboard the ship. All other nights were casual in the main dining rooms. White night was held on Thursday night with a fun dance party up top. On Day 4, we arrived in Cozumel and chose to shop near the ship instead of making a beach day. Many of the ship excursions were sold out due to the modified itinerary. There were plenty of souvenir shops and a some nicer jewelry stores further down the road toward the Mexican Flag. It was pretty hot and we took advantage of the rickshaws from the ship to the end of the pier. These were missing from Roatan the following day. In Roatan, we took a van with a few other people from the ship to the Henry Morgan Hotel in Roatan ($20 per person roundtrip) and then paid to use the beach $20 per person. There were people to help us set up chairs where we wanted them but it was so crowded and there was little shade. We were inundated by vendors our entire 3 hours there. There were security guards posted plenty of places. I would not return to this particular West Beach resort but the water is nice. There were too many boats running around the swimming area and the gas fumes were an issue for me. The 5th cruise day was in Costa Maya. It was overcast and we shopped near the port. Had some delicious Chocolate tequila and thought the pool/swim up bar area at the shopping area would be good place to spend some time (if we had known about it). We saw some natives climb a very tall pole and descend tethered by ropes from their ankles. The ritual was explained by a mechanical voice (like Tik Tok uses) . This port has grown up significantly since i was there in 2015. We did not do much but did not really investigate the excursions. We were grateful for the final sea day before returning to MIami on the 24th.

Food: No Flavor on anything. Breakfast for us was better in the Main Dining Room vs Buffet. Pizza in Buffet was decent but the lines for everything turned us off. Steaks in Butcher's Cut specialty restaurant were delicious though. Brunch there was disappointing and not worth $12. Our main dining room food was great on Elegant night (Lobster tails and steak) and just did not measure up after that. We expected much more from the pasta (Italian cruise line?) but most was over cooked (gummy) or lacking in flavor. Service in the Main Dining Room was great. Buffet servers just were not around to clear the empty places. They were just short staffed for the large numbers.

Drinks: Prepare to wait in line and to have someone more agressive jump ahead of you. You usually had to get your own drinks in the venues. The drinks were often served in tumblers rather than pretty glasses. I like a martini in a pretty glass, for example. Then, when you want a drink on ice, like a margarita, they might serve it straight up. Don't expect bar service in the Main dining area but they are quick with wine since this is served by your waiter and assistant. We like the margaritas best at the bar near Hola Tacos .
