I was scheduled to sail NCL Prima August 2022 but cruise was cancelled because of supply chain issues.
I was given a 25% off coupon towards my next cruise. I had not gone anywhere since 2019 and decided on a.second Alaskan cruise. It was a different journey than my first cruise. I was very eager to cruise and decided to stick closer to the USA because COVID was still such an uncertainty.
Although I am so glad to have cruised, there were some disappointments and frustrations.
I had an inside cabin on the 9th deck and it was quiet and mostly comfortable.
There was a problem with adjusting the thermostat and sometimes it was too cold and other times, too hot.
I had been to Ketchikan before. it is a very sweet and pretty port.
I chose to go to Totem Bight State Park which I loved. Lots of walking for those with mobility issues.
My excursion also included The Lumberjack Show and I hated this show but that is just me. Most guest loved it. It is slapstick comedy very loud and boisterous.
Weather was cold and rainy which made excursion difficult for me. I took tram up and train through the forest. Did not see any wildlife and scenery was not what I would call remarkable although beautiful.but our tour guide was very interesting and informative.
Victoria was beautiful but we got in at 8 pm and only had two hours. We spent most time at Inner Harbor and it is beautiful and interesting. Shops were open and guests did make purchases.
It is a shame that we did not get to spend more time in Victoria .
Loved Mendenhall Glacier but had to forfeit Roberts Tram because wait was too long.
Juneau is a very pretty city.
Wish we had more time in this port. Not enough time to explore and enjoy
Did get to observe two eagles in trees
Took Wildlife Quest and Finn Resort Feast. Pricey excursion but worth it.
Saw many whales up close having fun.
Feast was exceptional and all you can eat.
