This is a great river cruise up the beautiful River Douro. The scenery is really beautiful with lots of high hills and, at times, narrow gorges. We both really enjoyed the trips we went on, our guides were very informative, helpful and amusing! Great variety of trips to choose from. As this is quite a hilly region most of the trips required a coach (1 was just over 2 hours, rest were under 1 hour), with only 98 people on board this was a quick and easy process to organise.

The Scenic Azure is spotlessly clean, with a good sized cabin that had excellent storage space. The staff were superb, they were really friendly, attentive and worked together as a great team, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for them. Quality and choice of food was excellent, really tasty, excellently flavoured. Wide range of drinks and wines - all good quality and thoroughly enjoyable. As this is an all inclusive cruise one didn't have to think about cost of day trips or drinks - very helpful.
