This is our first time visiting Alaska. We also had a train/bus tour following the 7-day cruise. The ship was older, but clean and well managed. The service was good throughout the entire cruise. Ports of call were good. The train bus tour following the cruise was good as well. We had excellent motel accommodations on this leg of the journey. I have only one complaint. The boarding process was not good - more like a cattle call and survival of the fittest. We had to wear our masks while waiting to board - but the place was packed and the boarding too slow. We are diamond members - suppose to receive priority boarding- That did NOT exist for this cruise. We tested negative for COVID prior to the cruise. We both have received our vaccines and 1 booster. The ship did not require the use of masking while we were on board and it was not required on the train or bus tours. We both got COVID upon our return home. Fortunately, our illness was mild and we recovered nicely. However, for my next cruise coming up in a few weeks- we will wear masks.

Shopping and restaurants were available and good. The weather was clear and temperatures perfect.
