First this was not a 15 night Bering Sea & Japan TransPacific but an 8 night Vancouver to Los Angeles Pacific Coast cruise. The ship was in very good condition with a few exceptions, like a bench seat with torn upholstery in the Oceanview Cafe. We were in Cabin 3174 (Unobstructed Oceanview) which has a convenient location to minimize walking distance and was not excessively noisy. Main dining room staff were quite attentive as well as cabin staff. Entertainment was mixed with my partner not fond of Broadway show tunes and the main shows generally lacked pizazz. The live singers in the pool, bar and atrium areas, however, were quite good. Food quality was generally quite good. The only major snag on this cruise involved the front desk and Internet staff not resolving an issue on a timely basis. Shore excursion staff were fine. We did not have experience with bar staff, but specialty coffee staff were fine. Specialty restaurant, Sushi on 5, food was OK. Photo staff were fine, but photos are delivered in a plastic sleeve with no support for packing. Suggest that you bring a couple of magazines or pick up some magazines in ports to protect your photos when packing. Overall pleased with the cruise excepting the longest and most convoluted board procedures we have ever seen in the Port of Vancouver. Vancouver's port is just not efficient, especially with 3 ships boarding concurrently - fault is with the port rather than Celebrity.

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Horrible and lengthy boarding ques requiring excessive walking over multiple levels while 3 ships were in port. O Canada - you can do better than this.
