We chose a short cruise to test out cruising for the first time. We weren't sure if it was the right kind of vacation for us or not. Two other couples joined us, and we all had a fantastic time. The destination wasn't super important to us, but we enjoyed both stops. I was worried that Coco Cay would be too run over with kids, but we found a cozy spot at Chill Island to enjoy the beach and sun, and it was a blast. In Nassau, we shirked tours and did a DIY food and drink tour, starting at the John Watling's distillery and working our way back toward the ship. John Watlings, Bahama Barrels, and Pirate Republic Brewing were my favorites of the places we stopped.

On the ship, the rooms were comfortable, the casino was fun, and the food was serviceable. Nothing I ate totally blew my mind, but it was all decent to good.

The staff was incredible! We had such attentive attendants for our room. Couldn't ask for better.
