Luxury price tag but not luxury service. The staff were rude, especially the cruise manager. She was patronizing and disrespectful. The servers did not understand what gluten-free was even though it was in all my notes that I have celiac. They did nothing special for our honeymoon. We made reservations for al fresco dining only to find out there hasn't been al fresco dining since 2019. Embarkation was depressing and sad - no welcome, no welcome drinks, just a dark empty ship. The front desk staff were very unhelpful and rude. Don't cruise Uniworld unless you like paying luxury prices for awful service. Uniworld was much better pre-pandemic. The food was decent. They never explained the wines at dinner. The excursions were good but guides were average at best. We had to drag our own luggage up a long ramp during disembarkation because no one was working. This was while we watched Ama Waterways guests being treated like royalty by countless staff! Next time we're sailing Ama Waterways. Never again with Uniworld. Customer service refuses to return our calls and emails. They don't care about their customers at all.
