Tried P&O again after a break of 7 years. Our expectations were realistic but for a business that needs to be on the ball coming back from Covid shut downs, the experience was mediocre. They seem to think that government mask, distance and hygiene laws are optional. There was no enforcement of rules at all. By the end of the cruise about 30% of pax were maskless and staff did nothing.

Maybe the line can afford another year or two in limbo ?

Sewerage smell is awful in midship corridors and upper decks outside.

Cabin Review

Comfortable and clean but aging badly

Port Reviews

Cairns is a delightful city with the ship docking on the edge of the cbd

Brisbane's new international cruise terminal is an embarrassment for Qld. It is built right alongside the disgustingly oderous main sewerage treatment plant for Brisbane. Accessed via a shabby pot holed road through ugly industrial areas and huge rubbish dumps. The building is fine but there are no auxiliary businesses like shops and cafes like the Hamilton wharf. Everyone has to queue outside the terminal for 30 minutes with no signage or direction or priority access until you got inside .
