This was one of the best cruises (if not the best) that we’ve ever been on. Food was delicious in the MDR, waitstaff was exceptional and the ship was clean and in great condition. There were some fun onboard activities and great swag prizes. Since it’s a smaller ship we got to go into ports most larger ships can’t go in and stayed in each location a long time. We had a verandah and used it frequently enjoying the scenery and even had dinner on there from the MDR on a few occasions.
Yes, it is an older ship with some wear and tear as other have mentioned, but we love the ship is in beautiful condition and we love Azamara ships. If I wanted to be on a brand new ship then I would have signed up for that.
One tip - do not take the ship sponsored shuttle from Venice to Ravenna. Take an alternative transportation method. It was pure chaos and Azamara needs to find a new transportation company to partner with.
Cabin was clean and comfortable. We used the verandah frequently and our cabin steward, Anthony, was exceptional.
Dubrovnik was beautiful and fun to walk around in. Good shopping and food.
It was so fun being docked in port next to all the beautiful yachts and boats. There was a lot of boating activity we enjoyed from our verandah. Monte Carlo was clean and easily walkable with great people watching.
Kotor was breathtaking. We enjoyed the scenery from the ship and walking around in port.
Amalfi was stunning and fun to walk around.
