We chose this cruise because of the itinerary to the British Isles. My husband really wanted to do this cruise, but it was cancelled twice since 2020 due to Covid and then he ultimately lost his battle with colon cancer 4 months ago. My daughter and I booked this cruise to honor his wishes.

We booked air thru their promotion and arrived a day early at Heathrow. Flight was on Delta and was good. We also used the transfer service from the airport to the port. The process was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived on time at the port where embarkation was quick and organized. It was quickly apparent that the majority of passengers were over 65. Very few kids or people under 50. The ship was beautiful and the pool areas very nice.

The food was excellent at first but seemed to become more bland as the cruise continued. Venetian was good and O’Sheehan’s was excellent both for breakfast and other meals. Order the cheesecake brownie. Best dessert of the cruise! It is open 24 hours and service was excellent. Buffet was pretty standard with not much variation, especially at breakfast. Bamboo, the Asian restaurant, was not good. Coffee bar was the best with the best staff. The coffee was also very good. Read more
